crazy and useless information.

The mysteries of the letter "K"

K is the 11th letter of the English alphabet. 11 is drawn with two ones. one is a prime number. 11 plus two is 13, a traditionally unlucky number. eleven minus the square of two, which is four is 7, a traditionally lucky number. amazed? not yet? heres more.
-k9 is the slang for canine, or dog. the world's most popular and cherished pet.
-the names of two cold war icons, khrushchev and kennedy both start with the letter K
-The second entry in the dictionary under K is Kaaba, the sacred Muslim shrine in Mecca. well maybe in my dictionary. Kaaba has two a's in a row. and Mecca has two c's in a row.

THE CAGE.
Playing football at the cage yesterday really fun but tiring. i mean the fatigue was like none that i have ever experienced. the cage was somewhere in kallang. way behind the stadium. the walk there was so taxing. BUT when i saw what we were going to play in, haha, IT WAS WORTH THE WALK. a five a side cage with cushions on the side and nets that cover every possible place from the ceiling to the exit. see the fat black line beside acap? THATS the exit. there was no way the ball is gonna come out of the cage. cool. continous playing. but the effect of playing non stop evetually came. most of us were flat out after 30 mins of play. its a five minute break and then back to the cage! Hey we have to make full use of the time! 50 bucks an hour okay... but that 50 bucks was sure worth it! an excellent pitch, vending machine just an arm's reach away(see the picture? probably can't see it, but the machines behind me.) a toilet, locker room and a hawker centre just beside it. cool huh? oh yar and there's music played through the system! it was mostly raggae yeasterday though. all of us could not imagined the trip back to the mrt. haha. let me give you an idea, a 10 minute walk past the stadium, past an arsenal soccer school,up the bridge, down the bridge, AROUND the old kallang airport, past a carpark of cement trucks, trough the shophouses, cross the road to finally reach the train station! :D fatigue or no fatigue, i gotta go there again! oh yeah, we found out pop was a a new species of homosapien, maybe a mutant, or maybe a volunteer of some top secret human experiment. he has gills!. we were so shocked! haha! now you can become a lifeguard and save people from drowning okay?

apadah, toilet pun nak ambik gambar.

the walk back.

up the bridge!

initially i thought what it was suppose to be actually didn't. like conducting a urine test was suppose to be like, put a sample in a small container or whatnot, and thats it. but instead this nurse gave me a small plastic label with 4 indicators. thats it. no instructions no nothing. so there i was, in the toilet, with don. in our respective cubicle of course, trying to figure out. how the fuck are we gonna do this?! anyway, won't go into details, but somehow it was done! it was a medical checkup. for a report need to be sent to the school. and it was the usual shebang. x-rays, eyetest, colour vision test, blood pressure bla bla bla. all in all we still had to pay 22 bucks for it. aiyo. since when did azri become eezri? or even azer? wow. give a star for the nurse. don had to make his way to the CPF building to register a singpass, so we went back to tampines. after the registration, he saw this 20 digit pin number that appeared on the screen and he jot it down. 10 miniutes later, after he logged out, he just realised there was a printer beside it. baik don. palsi eh?
by chance we bumped into alann and sabeela at TM. "makan"-ing at ljs. after that, still got time, played football at pasir ris, with some locals. haha. i still have one months worth of free time! better make full use of it!

gala night.

okay the movie gala yesterday organised by temasek sec was suppose to start at 5 but me and luqman was still at yasin house at 4.40 p.m. baik kan? we were about to go when yasin's mum's car tyre burst. oh goody. we met his mum, off by 4.50 and took a taxi to fetch wan. we thought we were late, but apparently not. the show started at 5.30. MORE than enough time. OKAY so. first movie was dreamgirls. really too much singing in this movie. yikes. like 92% of the time. the hour break after the movie was really benifiting. wow. I GET TO BUY S'PORE ONE AH..( aku dapat lpas! ). landmark experience man. yasin could'nt find another oppurtune moment to find luqman's sister. haha! that sure annoyed him the next movie, happily Never after..well..its safe to say it could have been a great movie for 7 year olds. not 17 year olds. the ironic jokes were a plus though. in the end, the movie gala was okay afterall. at least ader food and drinks. in unlimited amounts. not like cest la vie.

prison break and heroes latest episodes are at 50%. can i have more seeds please? oh yar, europe xi match tommorow morning. a must watch!

Homer: I'm normally not a praying man, but if you're up there, please save me Superman.

ouch.
the wound on my left leg is really killing me. how many weeks has it been? it hasn't healed! though i understand why it hasn't healed, it still irritates me to the bone. stupid. ah play lah somemore streetsoccer without putting a bandage around it. pandai kan. bacteria reaps into that wound sized no bigger than a 5 cent coin everytime a ball or some fella's shoe graze my wound. no wonder it is looking more freaky. oh well. proper medication and lots and lots of bandages will do the trick. tommorow there's a gala night orgnised by temasek sec at shaw towers. im going woth some of me friends. fifteen bucks for two movies + popcorn +drinks? that sounds good! hope its worth it.

Chief Wiggum: Put out an APB on a Uosdwis R. Dewoh. Uh, better start with Greektown.
Lou: That's "Homer J. Simpson", Chief. You're reading it upside down.
Chief Wiggum: Uh, cancel that APB. But, uh, bring back some of them, uh, gyros.
Lou: Uh, Chief? You're talking into your wallet.

wasted.

yesterday was siglap secondary's most prestigious biennial event, Cest la vie. i met up with rahim, luqman, alann, amsyar, zul, wan,ab and yasin. as usual, it was delayed because ab forgot to bring his ticket so he had to rush back home to get it. he joined us at bedok. when i reached there, i couldn't believe what i saw. there were a number of people actually putting on a cultured attire. yikes. its only a matinee show. not a gig or something. if that was an eyesore, some even wore two cultures attires(skindies? a new clan?).wtf. aniwho, on with the show. we actually picked a good spot but eventually we were whiskered away by mr. chow "bosteng" because the row was for alumni's. kena pegi belakang.but not that behind. i was expecting a good show, don't get me wrong, it was quite a good show, but something made me feel that i wasted 15 bucks. yeah. the HOOLIGANS who couldn't behave themsevles throughout the entire show. shouting and screaming unnecessarily. lucky the guest of honour hadn't arrive yet. the 15 minute interval was even more terrible. we couldn't leave the convention hall to roam around. then whats the use the break? about 15-20 people wanted to smoke but since we couldn't leave the convention hall, we resorted to do it in the toilet. can you imagine the amount of smoke created? yikes. i have to applaud the fusion performance.

it was really interesting to see different music mediums from different cultures come together to create a catchy beat. and i mean it literally. no music no nothing. just a whole lot of drums beaing played in a synchronised tune. oh yeah. me and my friends can't help but think that alep resembled a duracell bunny and he smash the cymbals. beach road after that. makanmakanmakan. yasin 2 rounds summore. took the last train home in the end. alann then turn sod when he started to talk about cat cocks. eew. nice going man.
